Right of withdrawal, returns and cancellations

In accordance with European consumer rights legislation, as amended by Directive (EU) 2023/2673, the standard right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized.

LibrAria products are handmade and personalized according to the customer’s choices, including mini books printed on request. For this reason, the standard right of withdrawal does not apply, except in the cases expressly indicated below.

Returns and refunds

As an exception, a return may be requested within 14 days from the delivery of the item, only if the product is returned complete, in good condition, undamaged and without clear signs of use.

If the return is accepted:

80% of the purchase price will be refunded;

the remaining 20% will be retained as a restocking fee, to partially cover production, personalization, order handling costs and materials already used.

Return shipping costs

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing or in the case of a defective or damaged product.

The product must be carefully packaged, preferably in its original packaging, to avoid damage during transport.

Refund

Once the returned product has been received and inspected, the refund will be processed within 14 days from receipt of the return.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

Order cancellation

An order cancellation may be requested within 24 hours of purchase, provided that production or personalization of the product has not already begun.

After 24 hours, or if production has already started, the order can no longer be fully cancelled, as it concerns a product made on request and personalized.

Defective or damaged products

If the item has manufacturing defects or damage caused during transport, the customer is invited to contact us within 48 hours of delivery, attaching photographic documentation.

In these cases, depending on the situation, a replacement, repair or full refund will be evaluated.
